In 2000, Mark Sofge was a founding partner of Yukon Properties Consultants, LLC where today he also serves as a Managing Member. Before Yukon, Mark was a managing member of Wild Ride, LLC, an investment property holding company formed 2004 to buy and hold long term industrial properties in areas that were in the path of progress.
Other prior experience includes Wachovia Bank, NA. SVP and Partner in Wealth Management and Financial Planning departments responsible for business development, tax and estate planning that included restructuring operating companies for tax efficiency purposes and reorganization of real estate development companies and home builders throughout the southeast. Mark also spent 8 years with Bank of America as a Vice President in Private Wealth Management, Private and Executive Banking as well as retail brokerage management.
Mark holds a several Federal and State licenses and is a Certified Financial Planner CFP®. Experience includes financial planning, tax mitigation, wealth strategies, estate planning, asset and liabilities management for high net worth clients including State Tax Credits, Equities, Fixed Income and Real Estate Management. Mark has additional experience in structured asset financing of triple net lease properties.
In 2000, Walter Hall was a founding partner of Yukon Properties Consultants, LLC where today he also serves as a Managing Member.
Upon graduation from the University of North Carolina in Charlotte with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Walter began his career as an in-house appraiser for Brand Banking and Trust Company where he also managed development and construction lending functions. In 1984, he began work as a project manager for Spectrum Marketing, a North Carolina based firm that serves as contract developer of retirement communities for credible, not-for-profit sponsors of such facilities in the southeast. Subsequently, Walter spent 18 years in various management positions at Wachovia Bank in North Carolina and Georgia. The last 8 of those years were spent in the coordination of a transactional tax planning initiative aimed at North Atlanta's most successful real estate developers and their allied professions. Yukon Property Consultants grew out of this experience.
Walter completed the Senior Real Property Appraiser designation program at Ohio State University and is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor -- so designated by the American Bankers Association. He is an alumnus of the North Carolina Outward Bound School and holds a Masters degree in Ethics from Columbia Seminary.
Wayne Clark joined Yukon Property Consultants in 2011 as Director of Sales responsible for sales management, business development, and client relationships related to obtaining conservation easements on real property and earning tax credits deductions.
Wayne was in land development for fifteen years partnering with top National and Regional homebuilders to produce high quality residential communities. His company, Wayne Clark & Associates, Inc. provided the full complement of builder services all under one roof-from land acquisition, development, and real estate sales to surveying, engineering, and construction management.
During his career he also owned companies building homes, a general contracting company, a full service surveying, engineering, geotechnical engineering division, and a real estate brokerage company. Wayne has developed and marketed more communities on Lake Lanier in North Georgia than any other developer and is considered an authority on the Lake.
He has been active in his community and involved with United Way, Gainesville State College Foundation, Lanier Technical College Foundation, Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, and other civic endeavors.
Wayne is an alumnus of the University of Georgia with a Business Degree majoring in banking and finance from the Terry School of Business, a graduate of Leadership Georgia and the Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI). He has earned the Phoenix Real Estate Sales Award, is a past Hall County Young Man of the Year, and holds a Certified Residential Brokerage Manager (CRBM) designation.
